After the success of our digital support scheme that we ran in the summer, Positive Transitions is back – this time at the TP building. Join Nadine Woodley and Marjorie Diamond for fortnightly sessions that will support you to get back into the routine of school through the use of drama and wellbeing activities.
Students up and down the country have mixed views about not being at school for over five months, but we know that no matter how hard early mornings can be, routine is important for us all. Positive Transtions sessions are designed to coach participants to get back into the flow of being back in education – either in the last year of primary school or the first year of secondary school – helping you to develop manage feelings of anxiety, low self-esteem or a lack of confidence and developing your skills in public speaking, written communication, teamwork and having a more positive outlook on life.
This project is delivered in partnership with Body & Soul Charity, an innovative, award-winning charity that uses a comprehensive, community-based and trauma-informed approach to address the life-threatening effects of childhood adversity in people of all ages.
